New logo and a fresh new website for CPAC
Deciding it was “time for a change,” the Colorado Potato Administrative Committee has adopted a whole new look and digital presence with its revamped website — www.coloradopotato.org — going live in early March.
The website and logo came from Denver design company, Webolutions, which was hired last year. “We got into the mechanics of the upgrade last fall,” Assistant Director Linda Weyers said of the new logo, which depicts a sun behind mountain peaks and green and brown fields in the foreground, emphasizing the San Luis Valley. “We’re pushing this area because the name has customer recognition,” she added.
Savannah Schlaufman is the new marketing administrative assistant at CPAC in Monte Vista, CO.
In addition to the new visuals, CPAC also has a new marketing administrative assistant, Savannah Schlaufman, who came on after the first of the year.
Schlaufman is a May 2015 graduate of Adams State University in Alamosa and holds a bachelor’s in business administration with a marketing emphasis.
“I am currently enrolled in the master of business program at Adams State,” she told The Produce News. Prior to CPAC, she worked in the health field while attending school. The Colorado native said she is “very excited about being able to represent the Colorado potato industry.”
She will be working on the committee’s social media — Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest — which all now reflect the new look.
“We’ve offered the logo to shippers to put on their bags,” Weyers said. “And we will continue our program with Kwik Lok, replacing the old logo with the new one on bag closures.”
The committee’s booth presence through the Colorado Department of Agriculture will also be updated with new graphics, and all collateral material will also be changed, Weyers said.
