Locus Traxx Worldwide CEO named 2016 Rock Star of the Supply Chain
Food Logistics announced that David Benjamin, Locus Traxx Worldwide chief executive officer, was a recipient of its second annual Rock Stars of the Supply Chain Award. The award recognizes influential individuals in the food and beverage industry whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped and continue to attain milestones in safety, efficiency, productivity and innovation throughout the global food supply chain. Benjamin received this award due to his advocacy for safeguarding the supply chain.
In October 2008, Benjamin assumed the role of president and CEO at Locus Traxx Worldwide to lead the global expansion of one of the first IoT product lines focused on real-time monitoring of perishable and high-value products as they transit the world. “I am honored to receive this award in recognition of our determination to mitigate risks to the supply chain. Without proper protocols in place the supply chain is particularly vulnerable, putting millions of consumers at risk. Receiving this award validates our success and our momentum in the industry,” Benjamin said in a press release.
Under his leadership, Locus Traxx Worldwide has become one of the fastest-growing companies in the technology sector. Growing revenue at over 260 percent in 2014 and another 200 percent in 2015, the company has captured a significant client base in both North America and Europe. Benjamin has been a frequent presenter at conferences across the country to educate companies on the FSMA Sanitary Transportation Mandate.
