Chilean Fresh Fruit Association continues gang-buster promotions
The Chilean Fresh Fruit Association, whose headquarters are in San Carlos, CA, is supporting numerous sales and display contests, as well as promotions for a unique grape variety from Chile, the Muscat grape.
Karen Brux, managing director for the CFFA, said the Muscat grape possesses a delicate, pleasant, musky floral taste.
“The color of the Muscat grape varies from rosy pink with a green background to golden-yellow,” explained Brux. “There is still limited awareness for the Muscat, so great opportunities for promotions exist.
“Online promotions have also been widespread,” she continued. “New usage images and recipe videos have been used extensively online, with many retailers running Facebook contests to promote Chilean grapes to their customers.”
Chilean grape promotions are now in full swing, she noted, and they will continue through April.
Those who have not checked out the CFFA’s Fruits from Chile social media platforms would do well to take a look. It launched on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest in late October 2015.
“In less than five months we already have nearly 7,000 Facebook fans,” Brux pointed out. “We’re in the middle of a contest now, and we encourage everyone to peruse www.facebook.com/fruitsfromchile/?fref=ts to share in our excitement.”
On Chilean stone fruits, the CFFA has developed a number of new usage ideas to support this year’s campaign.
“And we have made a few short recipe videos that have been used extensively online, both on Fruits from Chile social media platforms, as well as on retail social media platforms,” said Brux.
