Westmoreland Sales-TopLine Farms hyped about new sustainable packaging and organic line
Leading North American greenhouse grower, Westmoreland Sales-TopLine Farms, is looking forward to another great experience at the Canadian Produce Marketing Association Annual Convention & Trade Show in Calgary on April 12-14. The company will exhibit at booth No. 257.
Jimmy Coppola, account and marketing manager for the Leamington, Ontario-based firm, said on hand at the booth will be company executives, Tony Cappelli, Dino DiLaudo, Max Mastronardi, and Lisa Sirizzotti.
“At this year’s CPMA expo we will promote some new packaging,” said Coppola. “The line includes our new top sealed trays and shells and new compostable fiber trays, which are also top sealed. Of course, we will also be promoting what we put inside of the compostable tray.”
The company will also feature its new organic tomatoes-on-the-vine and new organic grape tomatoes.
Coppola pointed out that Westmoreland-TopLine Farms sees consistent growth in the greenhouse industry in North America and abroad, and it recognizes increased consumer demand.
“This will balance with increasing supplies,” he said. “Expanded diversification in the greenhouses is directly related to demand and consequent increased production. This helps us to maintain a balance between supply and demand.”
The company is also strongly bullish on greenhouse technology. Coppola said it will continue to evolve in the future and will result in even more efficient growing areas, along with increased sustainability.
“We also believe that new greenhouse products will be introduced and ultimately widely accepted in the future,” he said.
“We look forward to the CPMA expo,” he continued. “It gives us an opportunity to see our partners face to face, and we get to show off our new items in person.”
