Showcasing produce at Viva Fresh is important to The Vision Cos.
The Vision Cos., which comprises Vision Import Group, headquartered in Hackensack, NJ, and Vision Produce Co., based in Los Angeles, has many direct grower deals in Mexico. That means that showcasing produce grown there at the Viva Fresh Expo is important for the company.
Vision will exhibit at booth No. 99 at the event, being held March 31-April 2, at the JW Marriot Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio.
Donald Souther, vice president of marketing and sales development for the firm, said key executives will be at Viva Fresh to meet with existing and potential customers.
“Representing Vision Cos. at Viva Fresh will be Raul Millan, executive vice president and partner, and Ronnie Cohen, vice president of sales and partner,” said Souther. “Also joining us will be George Uribe, sales manager; Allan Napolitano, sales and partner development representative; and Matthew Clark, executive vice president and general manager.”
Souther will also be in attendance at the event. The entire team will be promoting the company’s mango, lime, pineapple and lemon programs.
“We will feature our one-pound lime sleeves in breathable packaging which are sold under our exclusive ‘Mojito’ label,” said Souther. “We will also showcase our updated two-pound lime bags, also sold under our ‘Mojito’ label. The bag is breathable and resealable for extended shelf life and customer value.”
Both companies market the “Van Gogh” brand mangos, as well as “Mojito,” “Havana” and “Mr. Squeeze” lime labels. Vision Produce Co. also distributes limes under the “Bonito,” “Logger” and “Tropic Star” brands in the western United States.
The firm is a leading grower, importer and marketer of tropical, Hispanic and conventional produce. Vision Import Group markets to the eastern United States, while Vision Produce Co. markets in the western part of the nation.
“The Vision Cos. is sponsoring the Hotel Keys at Viva Fresh,” said Souther. “We find this to be a very valuable event and one that we wish to support.”
