Sbrocco's eat brighter! QMP table grapes arriving now
Sbrocco International Inc.'s eat brighter! USDA Quality Monitored table grapes will begin arriving to the U.S. and shipping to retailers throughout the East Coast this week.
This is the third season Sbrocco International has qualified to participate in the USDA Quality Monitoring Program, and the first season Sbrocco has participated in the eat brighter! movement with its imported table grapes.
The company began offering eat brighter! bagged apples last year, and has now expanded its eat brighter! program to include green seedless, red seedless and black seedless table grapes.
Sbrocco has received excellent quality imported grapes thus far, and is anticipating quality levels to remain high throughout the remainder of the season. The first shipments of eat brighter! USDA QMP table grapes were scheduled to come from Sbrocco’s Chilean grower Aguas Blancas in Colina. They were expected to arrive at the port of Wilmington on Feb. 18.
Sbrocco said it is looking forward to continuing to meet the ever-increasing retailer demands for high-quality fruit, and is especially excited to be able to offer such fruit in brightly colored, eye-catching graphics featuring Elmo, Oscar, and Cookie Monster.
