In addition to Holbik, team members at the expo will include Isabel Hurtado, sales manager, and Wes Wever, account executive.
“And our new account executive and marketing associate, Katalina Moreno, will also be with us at the show to greet and meet with customers,” said Holbik.
A plethora of beautiful and colorful tropical produce from Ecoripe Tropicals.“Katalina has been working with Ecoripe Tropicals on a part-time basis for three years,” he continued. “Upon completion of her B.A. in Business Administration, with a focus in marketing and human resources and a minor in advertising, she joined our team full-time in 2016.”
He added that the company is excited about Southern Exposure being held in South Florida, near to where the company is based.
Ecoripe Tropicals is a leading importer and distributor of quality tropical fruits and vegetables. Its farming operations and partnerships are spread throughout the Americas. It specializes in a full line of exotic tropical produce for the North American market.
At Southern Exposure, Ecoripe will be highlighting tropical produce grown locally, including guava, carambola and sapodilla.
“The Redland agricultural area boasts a great selection of produce, especially exotic fruits and vegetables not grown elsewhere in the U.S.,” Holbik pointed out. “Other locally grown produce we carry includes lychees, longans, dragonfruit, mamey, sugar cane, and green coconuts.”
“We will also have on display a wide variety of specialty tropical fruits, vegetables, and roots from Central America and the Caribbean, including long Chinese eggplant from our farm in Guatemala,” he added.
“We look forward to sharing our selection of tropicals and locally grown produce, and working together to develop successful programs with our current and new retail partners.”
