New product launches are always an exciting time for companies, and especially when they are met with immediate and widespread success.
Vineland, NJ-based Dandrea Produce is experiencing that level of success now with its recently launched “Clementeenies.”
“The ‘Clementeenies’ tagline; ‘Easy to Peel, Easy to Love’ describes the fruit perfectly,” said Steve Dandrea, vice president and third-generation family member.
“Super sweet and seedless, they are the best clementines in the world,” he added.
Dandrea Produce has created a new logo design and a website specifically for “Clementeenies.” It is available in two-, three- and five-pound bags, as well as 2.3-kilogram boxes.
To further promote the brand, the company is launching a fleet of new “Clementeenies’ wrapped tractor trailers that are sure to turn heads as they speed by on the highway.
“The new logo and packaging was well received at the PMA Fresh Summit, and we’ll be showcasing it again at the New York Produce Show,” said Dandrea.
The company will exhibit at booth No. 617 at the show. Dandrea said the company has exhibited at the New York Produce Show in the past, and it has always been a highly productive event for the company due to the networking opportunities and the exposure it offers.
In addition to Dandrea, his brother-partners, Frank Dandrea, president, Ronnie Dandrea, vice president, sales and operations, Adam Dandrea, sales associate and fourth generation family member, and Bobby Consalo, purchasing, will be attending the show.
“New York City is an exceptionally suitable host for the trade show,” Dandrea pointed out.
“Not only is the city the heart of the business world, but it is also a city that attracts and fascinates visitors from around the globe,” he continued.
“The timing is particularly great because we are able to meet with our old friends and retail partners just after Thanksgiving, and prior to the upcoming holiday season,” he added.
Other products Dandrea will feature at the show are its new packaging for corn, peppers, its Mexican cantaloupes and honeydews and its bagged cherries — and all just in time for the holidays.
