RBest Produce and El Sol Brands showcasing ‘perfect for the holidays’ lines of products
The New York Produce Show, being held on Dec. 1-3 in New York City, falls at the peak of the holiday buying season. For companies that offer holiday items, as well as items trending for the coming year, it could not be better timing.
That’s the case for RBest Produce Inc., in Port Washington, NY, and its sister company, El Sol Brands Inc., in Medley, FL.
“Through El Sol Brands, we are promoting a line of PLU pre-managed tropicals,” said Luis Perez, accounts manager for the company. “This is a premium size product to help retailers increase their margins by reducing their shrink.
“And we are continuing to showcase ‘We R Nuts,’” he continued. “In this division we have added some fun and tasty celebration platters which are great for the holidays or any gathering.”

The companies will exhibit at booth No. 361 at the show.
Perez noted that RBest introduced some exciting new lines this year. They include “Kings Sprout,” “We R Pickles” and “R Olives.”
“We are very excited to introduce these new delicious products that are sure to please,” he said. “’Kings Sprout’ is our line of pre-packaged Brussels sprouts. We currently offer pint cups and 16-ounce clamshells in fun colorful packages.”
“We R Pickles” is the company’s line of gourmet deli style pickles. Currently five varieties are on offer: Kosher Dill, Kosher Dill Cut Spears, Kosher Dill Cut Chips, Half Sour Whole Pickles and New York Sour Whole Pickles. The line is refrigerated and packed in clean resealable clamshells with the option of RBest’s colorful “We R Pickles” labels, or customer’s private label.
“These delicious items are a great low-calorie snack and will be at the forefront at this year’s New York Produce Show,” said Perez.
“R Olives” is its newest line of gourmet olives suited for all occasions. RBest currently offers 19 varieties, from classic green olives to exotic varieties like the Alfonso and Castelvetrano. Also available in clamshells, and with optional labeling, the line will be showcased at the show.
In October, RBest Produce Inc. and El Sol Brands’ Port Washington, NY, warehouse facility achieved its Primus Global Food Safety Certification for the second year.
