Village Farms celebrating 25th anniversary with ‘DNA’ tagline
Village Farms’ director of brand marketing and communications, Helen Aquino, said the PMA Fresh Summit was a great show for the company and provided a forum to celebrate 25 years as innovators in the fresh arena this year with its tagline, “It’s in our DNA: Distinctive, Notorious, Authentic.”
“And living up to this acronym, we had great success with the launch of our ‘Love Handles’ grab and go snack bag series in a convenient 10-ounce size,” said Aquino. “The bags are filled with our signature full of flavor varieties, such as Cabernet Estate Reserve, Cherry No. 9, Lip Smackin’ Grape, Heavenly Villagio Marzano and True Rebel Mix.”
She added that the Love Handles series of bags were also featured in the PMA Fresh Summit grab-and-go showcases in the lobby in front of the hall at the event.
“Customers were very excited to see our new offerings as well as provide feedback on how much they are loving the flavors of these signature exclusive authentic varieties,” added Aquino. “Our Cabernet Estate Reserve was also featured in the PMA Fresh Ideas showcase.”
She pointed out that a major trade show such as the PMA Fresh Summit is a huge endeavor for companies.
“And it’s a huge endeavor for all to attend,” she added. “We are so grateful that our customers were engaged and appreciative of our offerings. We look forward to forging deeper relationships with our retail partners by continuing to provide unique and measurable value to them, and of course to living up to our tagline moving forward.”
