Novazone selected to join Schwarzenegger on trade mission to Mexico
Livermore, CA-based Novazone Inc., a leading provider of clean technology solutions for food and water including advanced, ozone-based applications, participated in California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's California/Mexico environmental trade mission Nov. 9-10 in Monterrey, Mexico.
Gov. Schwarzenegger lead the trade mission to promote stronger economic relations between California and Mexico with an emphasis on environmental and energy-related issues, such as food safety.
The governor invited a select number of companies from California that represent a broad spectrum of environmental and energy-related markets. Novazone was chosen for its focus and leadership in clean technology solutions for food and water. At the event, Novazone showcased pre- and post-harvest solutions to enhance food safety, reduce decay and extend the shelf life of food and water products without the use of traditional and potentially harmful chemicals.
"We've worked hard to develop and deploy highly effective and economical clean technology solutions for food and water for our worldwide customers," David Cope, president and chief executive officer of Novazone, said in a statement. "Food and water safety has become a global concern and of particular importance to the economies of California and Mexico, both independently and collectively. Novazone is pleased to have been selected as a part of this delegation and look forward to fostering new business and market leadership opportunities that may arise."
