Kings Golf Classic produces ace
Kings Food Markets held its fifth annual Charity Golf Classic, benefitting its Act Against Hunger initiative, on Thursday, Aug. 13. The tournament joins Kings and its industry partners, who all share one common goal in feeding the community, to raise additional support for programs that provide hunger relief services throughout New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.

The highlight of the Golf Classic came when Rich Walters, a broker at Berg & Sons Inc., hit a hole-in-one to win a new car as part of the Hole-in-One contest sponsored by Wigder Chevrolet.
All proceeds from the Golf Classic go toward Kings continuing efforts to end hunger in the community. Past organizations that have benefited from the annual event include Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Grow it Green Morristown, Interfaith Food Pantry, Center for Food Action, Table to Table and Neighbor to Neighbor.
