Coliman, a large diversified Mexican company headquartered in Hermosillo, Sonora, has added a fresh-cut division to continue to meet the needs of its clients.
A July 7 press release from the firm indicated that Coliman is “continuing its strategy of constant innovation” in 2015 by starting a new project, Coliman Fresh Cut. These new products are value-added, practical and ready-to-eat, convenient and healthy options for consumers.
These will soon be on the market in Mexico and the United States.

According to the press release, the company was certified by Fairtrade International in December 2014 to produce and export organic bananas. Coliman banana plantations in Mexico’s state of Colima “offer very favorable conditions for the crop with the highest quality.”
