Giorgio Fresh offers visitors to PMA Foodservice a first look at new products
Progressive and forward thinking chefs from all sectors of the foodservice industry are always interested in and happy to learn about new products that can add flavor, visual appeal and uniqueness to their menu items.
Visitors to the PMA Foodservice Conference & Expo, July 24-26, at the Monterey Conference Center in Monterey, CA, will have just such an opportunity at the Giorgio Fresh exhibition booth, number 17. The company, headquartered in Temple, PA, offers a full line of high-quality mushrooms.
“Visitors to the event will get a first look at several of our new products,” said Bill Litvin, vice president of sales and national account manager for Giorgio Fresh.
“Among them is our new flavor stuffed mushrooms that will be available for order in a two-pack, 22-ounce size,” he added.
Along with Litvin at the Giorgio Fresh booth will be Brian Threlfall, executive vice president of sales and marketing, and Greg Sagan, senior vice president of sales and marketing.
“We look forward to attendees of the event stopping at our booth and speaking to a member of our team,” said Litvin. “They will find out why you can’t pick a better mushroom partner than Giorgio.”
Litvin noted that foodservice is a strong and growing segment for the company.
Giorgio Fresh services customers from Maine to Florida, west to Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri and Texas. It is a fully integrated grower-shipper of fresh mushrooms. In being so, it controls every step of the process — from growing to distribution. Its mushrooms are grown, hand-picked and processed in state-of-the-art packing facilities under strict quality control. Giorgio is SQF Level 3 and MGAP certified, and all mushrooms are grown using IPM-certified procedures.
“Attendees are encouraged to stop by Booth No. 17 for a tasty, nutritious sample of our flavored stuffed mushrooms,” added Litvin.
