FPFC South focuses on business goals
Celebrating its 50th year, the Fresh Produce & Floral Council invites you to “get to work on your business goals” at the 2015 Southern California Expo July 14 at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA. Hundreds of exhibitors will showcase the newest innovations and the latest consumer trends at one of the larger floral shows on the West Coast, according to a news release.
The keynote awards breakfast at 8 a.m. will feature a question and answer session with Major League Soccer All Star Landon Donovan, moderated by reporter Kelli Tennant. And during the popular floral design contest at 10 a.m. floral artists will create themed floral arrangements using a mystery box of supplies. There are categories for designers with every level of experience and the winners will be announced at 2 p.m.
The FPFC will also be hosting the PMA Foundation for Industry Talent students and their mentors at the Expo, helping them learn about the industry and meet FPFC members. The Expo floor is open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. All floral product remaining at the close of the Expo will be donated to senior centers and schools for disabled children.
