NatureSweet Tomatoes, a vertically integrated company that controls every step of the tomato-growing process from seed to shelf, continues to cultivate an innovative lineup, taking its tasty tomatoes on the road to a national fresh produce conference.

The company prides itself on unleashing the power of people, starting with its 6,000 full-time associates who plant, grow, harvest and package the tomatoes. It will showcase its signature Glorys fresh ingredient tomatoes, the highest-quality cherry tomato available in the market, and new Jubilees, sandwich tomatoes with great flavor, at the United Fresh conference in Chicago.

Both products are finalists in the United Fresh Produce Association’s 2015 new product awards showcase. Glorys are being honored in the best new packaging category for their easy-open, resealable package that is rinse-ready, reusable and 100 percent recyclable. The 10.5-ounce package protects the tomatoes and maximizes their shelf life to ensure the highest quality and freshness.

Jubilees, available in retail packs of five, earned a finalist spot in the best new vegetable product category as a sandwich tomato with a great taste. Each tomato is superior in flavor and the ideal size for one sandwich. The winner of each category will be announced during the conference.

NatureSweet Tomatoes will be at Booth No. 1250, where it will have samples of the brand’s popular varieties:Glorys, which are ideal for cooking; Jubilees, which are perfect for slicing; and Constellation, a new, colorful blend of the best NatureSweet tomatoes for sandwiches, salads, cooking and snacking all in one 24-ounce package.

NatureSweet will offer recipe samples featuring each tomato throughout the show, including beloved Glorys pizza bites, Cherubs taco salad, SunBursts jam and Jubilees grilled cheese deluxe.
