More than 20,000 attend Hortiflorexpo IPM Shanghai
The 17th Hortiflorexpo IPM Shanghai took place April 22-24 in China and more than 20,000 visitors attended, according to a news release.
Organized by the China Flower Association, the expo is known to be the largest official trade show in Chinese floriculture and horticulture.
There were over 600 exhibitors from 24 countries in 1,200 booths at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre, with two exhibition halls completely sold out. Official country pavilions by 136 foreign exhibitors included Holland, Germany, France, Ecuador, Korea and Taiwan, among others.
Since 1998 the annual three-day event has alternated between meeting in Shanghai during odd years and meeting in Beijing during even years. Hortiflorexpo IPM 2016 will be held March 11-13 at the New China Exhibition Center in Beijing.
