New Titan Farms sales team takes the field
Together the five new sales team members, with their leader, Daryl Johnston, vice president of sales, have 60 years’ experience in produce sales. Most have been on the job since April 1, and none more than a month. They all live in or near Titan Farms in Ridge Spring, SC. “I told them I wanted boots in the ground where the tree roots are,” said Johnston. He will keep his hand in with a sales cubicle in the center of the new offices, amid other team members.
The new sales team at Titan Farms: Daryl Johnston, Carol Dutton, Jessica Gibson, Angie McCreery, Mike White and Ryan Hare.The new modular office, two double-wide trailers, is less than a week old. It has space for meetings and a porch for outdoor cooking, but Johnston envisions other team-building facilities and equipment. “We have to get the job done, but we want to have fun while doing that,” he added.
The new team members:
Ryan Hare, from The Oppenheimer Group in Philadelphia; Michael White from Dole Food Co. in Jacksonville, FL; Jessica Gibson, who has worked on and off for Titan since graduating from Clemson University; Carol Dutton, from W. P. Rawl & Sons in Pelion, SC, and U.S. Foods in Lexington, SC; and Angie McCreery, office manager, who previously worked with Titan Farms operations.
