FNGLA’s annual convention meets June 12-13; Industry Award winners named
The Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association’s sixty-third annual convention will meet June 12-13 and according to the organization’s website, “it’s a time each year for FNGLA members and industry friends to celebrate the past year of success while welcoming FNGLA’s new leadership taking office.”
This event is held in a new location each year, near the organization’s president’s hometown, and in 2015 that is Coral Gables, FL. Several local area tours are planned for convention attendees, including Montgomery Botanical Center, Vizcaya Gardens, Fairchild Tropical Gardens and the historic Biltmore Resort. Also on the agenda is FNGLA’s annual membership meeting, during which there will be the presentation of several Industry Awards.
FNGLA’s Industry Awards Program acknowledges both FNGLA and industry service, with varying criteria geared for each award, according to a news release.
