The French government has awarded Valerie Gerard-Matsuura the Order of Agricultural Merit in recognition of her contributions in promoting French food and beverage products internationally.
This prestigious certification is awarded to a select few people each year who have been judged by their achievements to develop and promote the French agricultural industry throughout the world.
Matsuura currently serves as the director of trade relations for Sopexa USA, managing a wide range of food and beverage accounts.
“We are very pleased that Valerie’s work has been singled out for promoting French agricultural products,” Pauline Oudin, president of Sopexa USA, said in a press release. “Her outstanding contributions have long been recognized by our clients and this certification now formalizes the recognition of her outstanding work.”
Sopexa, the parent organization of Sopexa USA, provides support and guidance to food and beverage manufacturers, distributors and trade associations during their expansion in domestic and international markets.
