Hogervorst to leave FloraHolland
Dirk Hogervorst, strategy, marketing and business development manager at FloraHolland in the Netherlands, will leave the company after more than 25 years, according to a news release.
“In the past 25 years, I have held various and multifaceted positions at FloraHolland,” Hogervorst said in the release. “I have worked for this fantastic cooperative with great pleasure and passion, together with you — my colleagues, the growers, the customers and many others. I have a great deal of confidence in the newly formulated strategy, FloraHolland 2020, toward the realization of which I have worked with great commitment and enthusiasm over the past year. It is now time to give my career a new direction and I obviously hope this will lead to the floriculture industry once more, be it domestic or international.”
“Flowering the World Together, Planting Seeds of Opportunity for Our Members,” is the theme of FloraHolland’s new mission. With this goal in mind, FloraHolland 2020 will embark on its mission and the management board is considering Hogervorst’s successor.
“We wish to thank Dirk for his many years of involvement in, and his contributions to, our cooperative company and we wish him all the best in his future career,” said Lucas VosFloraholland general director, in the release.
