Oneonta provides strategies to lift apple, pear sales during winter
Retailers wanting insights about additional ways to boost apple and pear sales during the winter months can discuss strategies with Oneonta Starr Ranch Growers at Booth No. 911. The company is headquartered in Wenatchee, WA and is one of the premier tree fruit growers in the Pacific Northwest.
“There is still a big inventory of apples and pears to sell yet this year,” said National Sales Representative Dan Wohlford. “We will be talking to retailers about all the opportunities to capture sales and profits throughout the rest of the winter and spring. In the pear category, green and red Anjou pears in pouch bags have been big hits with consumers. The pouches make for great-looking displays that always give the category a lift. In the apple category, we have plenty of all varieties. And with opportunities for sales during the St. Patrick’s Day and Lent/Easter holiday times, retailers can really help increase volume and dollars.”
In addition to Wohlford, visitors can speak with Scott Marboe, director of marketing; Bruce Turner, national marketing representative; and Donna Drury, sales.
