Glory Foods names new VP of sales
Glory Foods in Columbus, OH, a category leader in Southern-style heat-and-serve products, recently announced the promotion of Lisa Cliff-Burk to vice president of sales. Ms. Cliff-Burk has been with Glory Foods since its inception in 1992 and had previously served as national sales director.
As vice president of sales, Ms. Cliff-Burk is responsible for maintaining and growing Glory's full line of products nationally. She has been charged with spearheading continued sales growth of Glory's fresh-cut bagged division as well as the savory frozen and traditional canned lines. Under her guidance, "Glory Foods" has grown from a local brand to a national brand leader whose products are now found in over 140 grocery retail chains and 15,000 stores across the United States. Prior to joining Glory, Ms. Cliff-Burk worked in management for Meijer one of the region's larger retailers.
"Lisa has been with Glory Foods since its inception. She is largely responsible for our growth over the past 14 years," Barry Huff, president of Glory Foods said in a statemet. "In her new role, Lisa will continue to focus on depth and breadth of national presence as well as global opportunities for all three of our product divisions. We are looking forward to future growth under her guidance."
In another development, Dino Allen has been promoted at Glory Foods to director of sales for the company's fresh product line. A member of the Glory Foods team for more than seven years, Mr. Allen will continue to manage national sales efforts for fresh-cut bagged produce while exploring new growth opportunities within the growing segment. Currently, Glory's fresh produce greens provide category leadership, accounting for nearly one-quarter of the company's overall sales.
