Stoneridge Orchards dried fruit now available in smaller, store-friendly size
Stoneridge Orchards, an expert in dried fruit and the consumer brand of Royal Ridge Fruits, has made a variety of its most popular products available in smaller, single-serving packages.
The new three-ounce bags are intended for retailers to merchandise as healthy, on-the-go snack options, and the company is making them available in eye-catching tray displays. The bags also can be hung from pegs in the snack aisles of convenience stores and other retailers.
“These new, smaller packages enable retailers to offer customers something different in convenience — a healthier snack choice made with whole, all-natural dried fruits,” said Bryce Dorsing, senior vice president of family-owned-and-operated Royal Ridge Fruits. “We know that more and more consumers are looking for health-conscious choices, and that includes when they are out on the go. Our new snack-sized bags are perfect for just such occasions.”
The new Stoneridge Orchards grab-and-go options will be available in the following four varieties:
Stoneridge Orchards most popular products are now offered in new three-ounce bags.Montmorency Tart Cherries: The company’s signature dried fruit product, and also its most popular. These tart cherries remain moist when dried and are fragrantly sweet, tart and plump with intense flavor and color.
Dark Chocolate Dipped Cherries: Premium 70 percent dark chocolate lightly coats Montmorency Cherries to satisfy a sweet tooth the all-natural way.
Greek Yogurt Dipped Cherries: Montmorency Cherries lightly dipped in smooth, ultra-creamy Greek-style yogurt. These cherries are harvested at the peak of ripeness and then dried for a wholesome snack straight out of the bag.
Chili Lime Cherries: Mildly zesty and slightly sweet, these Montmorency Cherries are seasoned with Tajin® chili lime for a mild kick, offering a healthier snacking experience unlike any other.
Like all Stoneridge Orchards products, these new snack-sized options are made with whole, all-natural fruits — not a mixture of fruit juice and pectin.
They also contain no artificial colors, flavors, hydrogenated oils or sulfites, and are Kosher-Dairy certified.
The new three-ounce bags are available to order now and will began shipping to retailers Oct. 15.
Each variety comes in its own displayable tray of 12 packages, and the individual bags will have an MSRP of $2.99.
The Dorsing family has been growing cherries, berries and tree-fruit in Washington state for three generations, helping Royal Ridge Fruits become one of the larger producers of Montmorency Tart Cherries on the West Coast.
