Veggie Patch names its first spokesperson: Chef Cindi Avila
Veggie Patch, a leading brand of vegetable-based snacks and entrees, has teamed up with notable vegetarian chef Cindi Avila to serve as the brand spokeswoman for ongoing public relations and social media efforts.
Avila’s knowledge and know-how in the kitchen will be beneficial to Veggie Patch as the brand continues to focus on introducing consumers to its line of healthy vegetable snacks and entrees.
Chef Cindi Avila Additionally, her experience in front of the camera, which includes appearances on the Food Network’s "Chopped" and winning TLC’s competition series "Dinner Takes All," along with related on-camera brand work, makes her the perfect pick to help grow Veggie Patch’s awareness.
“Veggie Patch is a natural fit for me,” Avila said in a press release. “It’s a brand I personally serve my family and enjoy. I’m excited to share my love for it with others. Today’s consumer is clearly interested in eating healthier and incorporating more vegetables into their diets, so the time is certainly ripe for introducing Veggie Patch to the world.”
This marks the first time Veggie Patch has engaged a spokesperson for its brand.

The past few months have been a fruitful period for Veggie Patch as it has also introduced two new products, Moroccan Red Lentil Cakes and Roasted Red Pepper Falafel, to its portfolio of vegetables and meatless products. Additionally, it has updated its logo and packaging imagery, as well as overhauled its social media platforms.
