Riveridge Produce adds new staff
Sparta, MI-based Riveridge Produce recently added new staff members to its team as part of its expansion plans.
MITCH BRINKS joined the staff as an account manager, effective Aug. 4.

Brinks has had a long career in the produce industry, including the last 11 years as a sales manager at Jack Brown Produce, also based in Sparta. Before that, he worked for the Kroger Co., traveling and sourcing fruits and vegetables primarily in the Eastern United States. He also has experience in import/export sales of fresh produce.
“We have known and worked with Mitch for over 20 years,” said Don Armock, president of Riveridge Produce Marketing, Inc. in a company press release. “We’re excited to have him join the Riveridge Team, as he brings different talents, new perspectives and many years of experience to our sales team.”
Brinks holds a degree in business administration with a specialization in marketing and food distribution from Western Michigan University.
Riveridge also added DAN WINOWIECKI to the accounting staff and promoted JEFF ARMOCK.
Winowiecki comes to the company from Cherry Growers, Inc., where he worked for 32 years, most recently serving as director of finance and accounting.
Armock, who is now in his fifth year with Riveridge and currently working as the manager of food safety and quality control, has assumed additional responsibilities for production scheduling and sales.
