Show provides multiple opportunities for River Point Farms
The PMA Foodservice Conference & Expo is a must-attend venue for River Point Farms, headquartered in Hermiston, OR. “Our River Point Farms sales team looks forward to the PMA Foodservice show every year,” Customer Service Representative Mackenzie Mills told The Produce News. “The PMA Foodservice show is an important opportunity for us to meet with our customers and listen to their changing needs, and also learn about new trends in the produce industry. It is also a great convention to meet with potential customers and showcase our red, yellow, white and sweet onions that we have available for year-round contracting.”
River Point Farms will be available at Booth No. 132 to talk with attendees. Also on hand at the event, in addition to Mills, will be President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Hale, Vice President of Foodservice Sales Tonya Giotta, Director of Sales Carly Kwak Bauch, Product R&D Manager Stefan Matheny, and customer representatives Lori Payne and Nicole Palmer.
As one of the nation’s premiere onion grower-packer-shipper-processors, River Point Farms will produce 450 million pounds of onions this year. “At River Point Farms, we offer competitive pricing on year-round programs for red, yellow, white and sweet onions,” Mills stated. “We offer all types of whole, peeled and diced and sliced onions to various foodservice, industrial ingredient, restaurant chain and retail customers.”
This year, the company will be adding a new white onion program.
“We are also excited to share the news of our upcoming major capital investments including building a new state-of-the art whole onion packing facility and updating our fresh-cut processing plant,” she said.
