Spice World to feature new crop Calif. garlic at PMA Foodservice
Louis Hymel, director of purchasing and marketing for Spice World Inc., headquartered in Orlando, FL, said that the company will be represented at the PMA Foodservice Conference & Expo in Monterey, CA, July 25-27 by himself, as well as Mitch DiMarco, director of foodservice.
“Spice World will be exhibiting at Booth No. 130,” said Hymel. “We’ll be featuring our new crop California garlic along with all of our value-added garlic products. And we’ll be highlighting some new peeled packaging that we’re very excited about.”
Spice World lays claim to having America’s number one ready-to-use garlic products, which are sold throughout North America. Its products are also exported to many different areas of the world.
“Spice World’s products are very diverse in size and value-added benefits,” Hymel pointed out. “From home consumers to foodservice chefs, along with many industrial processors, our products stand out in these and other attributes, including outstanding flavor.”
Founded in 1949 by Andy Caneza, Spice World’s mantra is that good business delivers tasty results. The company continues to prove that integrity and innovation harvest incredible quality.
From the fertile soil of its farm in the San Joaquin Valley in California, to its coast-to-coast distribution and leading-edge processing plants, Spice World claims to consistently deliver the freshest, most flavorful supply of garlic nationwide.
Hymel explained that the company’s foodservice division is a consistently increasing segment of its business.
“We continue to add new packaging equipment improving efficiencies and sustainability in order to keep up with today’s trends, demands and our own dedication to the environment,” he said. “Spice World is a leader in private labeling and packaging for a variety of garlic products. Our in-house research and development department along with complete lab capabilities enables us to cater to our customers’ needs by offering product processing to specification.”
