Del Monte Fresh strengthens management team with four key appointments
Del Monte Fresh Produce N.A. Inc. in Coral Gables, FL, has made four key appointments to its Asian, European and North American regions.
Jimmy Tenazas, formerly vice president of Del Monte Fresh's North American deciduous program in Coral Gables, will take on the role of vice president of the Asia-Pacific region in Hong Kong, China, and will report directly to Hani El-Naffy, president and chief operating officer of Del Monte Fresh Produce Co.
Michael Walsh, formerly vice president of deciduous sales in North America East, will relocate from Philadelphia to take on Mr. Tenazas' former role as vice president of the company's North American deciduous and citrus program.
As of June 1, Peter White, vice president of the firm's banana and pineapple program in North America in Coral Gables, will transfer to Monaco as vice president of sales and marketing of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa foods, and will report to Jean Pierre Bartoli, senior vice president, located in Del Monte EMEA headquarters. Danny Dumas, former district sales manager of eastern Canada, will succeed Mr. White.
