Village Farms will have top executives to meet with visitors at Southern Exposure
Helen L. Aquino, Marketing Manager Village Farms LP, headquartered in Eatontown, NJ, told The Produce News that company President and Chief Executive Officer Michael A. DeGiglio, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Doug Kling, Senior Vice President and Sales Operations Bret Wiley, Eastern District Sales Manager Alan Kleinman, and Regional Sales Manager Steve Poklemba will all be attending the Southeast Produce Council’s 2014 annual Southern Exposure conference and expo. The event will be held Feb. 27 to March 1 at the Caribe Royale Conference Center & Hotel in Orlando, FL.
Village Farms will be exhibiting at booth number 621.
“The Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure conference and expo is the premier local show for the Southeast,” said Wiley. “It provides us with an excellent opportunity to liaise with our top customers of the region. We look forward to this show every year for this very reason.”
Aquino added, “We have been a member of the Southeast Produce Council for five years, and we have exhibited at the expo every year during our membership. In addition to our full line of high-quality greenhouse produce, we will be featuring our ‘Rebellion’ tomato medley pack. The one-pound clamshell is the newest introduction to our ‘Olde World Flavor Collection.’“
She added that the “Rebellion” is a unique pack that contains a mix of four to six different flavorful plump varieties, each with a distinct shape and flavor.
“The tomatoes have brilliant colors that range from red, orange, yellow, green and brown — a true rainbow of color distinction,” she said. “No two packs will be the same, but each will be deliciously sweet and intense in variety and flavor.”
