“We are looking forward to another annual Southern Exposure conference and expo, and we have a full lineup of team members who will have a presence at the show,” said Nichole Towell, director of marketing for Duda Farm Fresh Foods Inc., headquartered in Oviedo, FL. “Duda Farm Fresh Foods has been a member and supporter of the Southeast Produce Council since its inception, and we have been exhibiting at the show for over eight years.”
Duda Farm Fresh will be exhibiting at booth number 600 at Southern Exposure. On hand to greet visitors will be Dan Duda, chief executive officer; Jason Bedsole, eastern sales manager; John Alderman, senior account manager; Brian Tipple, Scott Wilkins and Christina Monnin, all account managers; Susan Noritake, director of fresh-cut sales; Tim Ross, regional sales manager; Paul Huckabay, western citrus sales manager; Rich Uchida, western sales manager; and Jeff Goodale, business development manager.
“Duda Farm Fresh Foods will continue to showcase our ever-expanding line of value-added items,” said Towell. “These products are tailored for the consumer living life on the go, where convenience is king. From citrus to fresh vegetable items, Duda Farm Fresh Foods will present products at Southern Exposure that directly meet the needs of today’s consumer and offer retailers an opportunity to increase revenue with our fresh-cut product line.”
The company’s fresh-cut line includes sticks and snacks, radish ministicks and four-count grab-n-go Mandarins with new display bins.
Duda’s items that carry the “Fresh From Florida,” label, which is the state’s locally grown initiative, include romaine, green leaf, red leaf, cilantro and bok choy, as well as corn, celery and radish products.
“We will also continue to have promotable volumes of Florida citrus,” said Towell. “Red grapefruits and Honey tangerines will be available through March, and Valencia oranges through June. We also have a full line of citrus available from California.”
Dan Duda is an active member of the Southeast Produce Council Advisory Board, and Towell said that the Southern Exposure conference has great events to continue business discussions and enjoy business connections throughout the entire conference.
“We participate in all of the events and find great value in meeting with our customers and business partners,” she added.
Duda’s home base in Oviedo means that the company has a deeprooted connection with the land and people in the Southeast.
“We look forward to this show each year in large part to show our ongoing support for our home state,” said Towell. “Duda is a silver level sponsor of the Southeast Produce Council, and a sponsor of both Southern Exposure and the Southeast Produce Council’s fall conference.
“Duda Farm Fresh Foods is pleased to have been named a Produce for Better Health fresh produce industry Role Model for a fourth consecutive year,” Towell continued. “This honor is something that we are very proud to receive as a grower and shipper of farm fresh products.”
