Christopher Ranch announces relocation of Northeast facility
Anthony M. DeAngelis, director, Northeast Division for Christopher Ranch, headquartered in Gilroy, CA, told The Produce News that the company recently relocated its Northeast facility to 78 Mayfield Ave., but it is still in Raritan Center in Edison, NJ.
“We have been fully operational in the new space since July, and have just completed the final improvements to our refrigeration and storage as of October,” said DeAngelis. “The opportunity to transition to this new space has been a tremendous upgrade for our operations in the Northeast. The new facility offers us additional space and efficiencies that will improve our operations for years to come.”

“We have also added a second refrigeration zone for better storage and handling of our specialty items and fresh ginger,” DeAngelis added. “Our move to this facility will enable our continued high level of service to our Christopher Ranch customers in the Northeast, and we look forward to the opportunity of the New York Produce Show to continue to build our customer base in the Metropolitan New York marketplace.”
Christopher Ranch will be exhibiting at the New York Produce Show on Dec. 10-12 at Pier 94 at Booth No. 450. The company has been a veteran attendee of the show since its first year.
“We feel this is a wonderful show for our Northeast Division business, both in seeing current customers and still exploring new opportunities and showcasing our featured items,” said DeAngelis. “It is a great time for the show, as everyone enjoys the city around the holidays.”
Christopher Ranch, he noted, was just completing its evaluation of its annual garlic harvest in early November.
“We are seeking to share new ideas with our customers and explore opportunities with prospective new outlets,” he said. “We continue to feature our California-grown heirloom garlic and organic garlic, and our ability to offer a year-round California garlic program to our customers.”
He said that it is well known that the flavor of California garlic is superior and of the highest quality.
“We do a complimentary menu of wonderful and flavorful creations using our garlic and Giorgio Mushrooms, featuring the culinary stylings of Chef Michael Giletto,” said DeAngelis.
“At the moment, we are pretty excited about our new move and expansion into the new and larger facility this fall,” he continued.
“It offers us room to grow, tremendous new cold storage and cold chain handling improvements. It also situates us with excellent accommodations to continue our success here in the Northeast into the distant future. We are truly excited to have made this move, and look forward to continued growth with our new capabilities in this facility. We look forward to sharing the details, as well as our full line of high-quality products, with visitors at the New York Produce Show.”
