DJ Forry introduces new pomegranate aril package
California produce marketer DJ Forry is set to release its new Forry's Finest Sweet Bursts pomegranate arils.
Sweet Bursts will arrive to market in a new two-serving tub package configuration. This new aril package represents the latest in a line of stand-up pouch
offerings, which include California grapes, cherries and stone fruit.
"Growing sales ... delivering innovation, that's the promise we make to our customers," said John Forry, vice president of the Novato, CA-based company. "We believe that in order to accomplish that goal, we must continue to bring new ideas to the marketplace. Over the last year we've released multiple offerings in new stand-up handled pouches that offer efficiencies for retailers and consumers alike. We believe that our new Sweet Bursts arils represent a natural extension to our current lineup."
Sweet Bursts are packaged in a unique, separately sealed two-serving tub that allows consumers to take a now-and-later, or home-and-away, approach to where and when they choose to enjoy their arils.
"The tagline on each of our consumer packages reads, 'Nourish your family with every bite.' We believe that our preservative free 100 percent natural Sweet Bursts pomegranate arils live up to that promise, so much so that we've made a commitment to offer Sweet Bursts year round," said Ray England, vice president of marketing. "Why limit the consumption of such a superior snack to four or five months of the year? We believe that consumers should have the opportunity to nourish their families with fresh healthy snacks whenever they want and we can help with that goal through offering our arils 365 day a year."
_DJ Forry markets stone fruit, cherries, table grapes and specialty fruits, including persimmons, pomegranates and arils. The company works with more than 70 farmers in California and Chile to deliver produce to both domestic and export markets offering farmers an innovative, reliable and profitable way to get their products to market.
