The sales team at Crown Jewels Produce Co. in Fresno, CA, is excited about future prospects for California blueberry production. “Crown Jewels Produce is pursuing the expansion of our locally grown California blueberries, some of the most desirable in the market,” Managing Member Atomic Torosian told The Produce News.

“The continued growth in blueberry acreage has enabled us to aggressively explore and develop our markets to provide our growers the highest rate of return. With access to multiple varieties, including Suzi Blue, Star, Sensation and Legacy, just to name a few, Crown Jewels is able to maintain a flow in the marketplace that satisfies the wants and needs of our many customers.”
The company’s blueberry season ramped up during the last week of April and is expected to run through the third week of June.
“Crown Jewels is willing and able to support ads and programs with retailers poised throughout the western states,” Mr. Torosian stated. “Our black box sporting the Crown Jewels blueberry logo has become synonymous with quality and excellence. Look for it in stores near you and settle for nothing less.”
With plans for anticipated expansion, he added, “The Crown Jewels team will only grow stronger as we continue to fulfill our commitment to provide the highest quality of produce and services.”
