Spice World bringing latest products to New England Produce Council Expo
Spice World, which grows fresh garlic in California, shallots in the Pacific Northwest and sources the finest ginger from partner growers around the globe, is excited about bringing its products to the upcoming NEPC Produce, Floral & Food Service Expo.
“We appreciate any opportunity to speak face-to-face with our customers and meet on a more personal basis, even if it is just to thank them for their business,” said Mike Smith, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Spice World. “We will be an inline exhibitor and will be featuring our entire product line, including the newest products we introduced fall of 2024: Refrigerated Fresh Diced Garlic, Refrigerated Peeled Ginger and our Garlic & Ginger Seasoning Blend.”
At the booth, Drew Caneza, vice president of sales. and Brigid Harvey, sales manager, will be on-hand to talk with those who stop by and highlight what the company has been doing.
“They are our regional sales team for the Northeast and have excellent customer relationships,” Smith said. “The NEPC is a terrific networking event. We connect with both our customers and fellow produce suppliers. It is important to keep our name and products top-of-mind with both and look for ways we can continue to build relationships.”
The show is important, he noted, because the business environment has continued to accelerate and demand for garlic continues to grow, so all opportunities to connect with valued customers are important.
Established in 1949, Spice World is a market leader for garlic. Spice World’s offerings also include zesty ginger, Easy Onion, and hearty shallots, offered in ready-to-use, peeled and squeezable versions to help make meal prep and cooking more convenient.
“The wide variety of Spice World products allows home cooks to easily create rich, flavorful dishes for the entire family to savor,” Smith said. “Whether it is garlic, ginger, shallots or our seasoning blends.”
As the summer season winds down, Spice World is looking forward to the fall when more meals are prepared at home and business typically picks up.
“The holiday cooking season is quickly approaching too, and it gives us another opportunity to share new flavor ideas and recipes with consumers,” Smith said. “Spice World’s DNA is built around high-quality, year-round supply of garlic and delivering outstanding customer service. Both pillars support all we do and have allowed us to become the trusted partner in our category with our retail partners. We are thankful for the opportunity to continue to develop products that make cooking easier for consumers.”
As the company strategizes for the NEPC show, the Spice World Team is ensuring that it has all the pieces in place for success.
“A successful show is well attended with customers eager to engage with us on a variety of topics,” Smith said.
