Fresno, CA-based Marketing Plus welcomed KATRINA TONKOGOLOSUK to the company on June 23.

Ms. Tonkogolosuk has assumed the role of account executive for the organization. Her responsibilities include focusing on new business development, especially clients located in and around California’s Central Valley.

Gills Onions, located in Oxnard, CA, expanded a recall July 25 of all products processed at one of its facilities after investigators found Listeria at its plant, the company announced.

The company has been struggling with Listeria reports since May, when it issued a voluntary recall of 2,360 pounds of diced red onions after the Canadian Food Inspection Agency found Listeria on products during routine sampling.

Brooks Tropicals LLC, based in Homestead, FL, achieved food-safety certified audits across the board for its starfruit category.
