Beachside Produce LLC is bringing a full production of Brussels sprouts, celery and broccoli for the Holiday Season.

Production is well under way for Beachside Brussels sprouts.  They are grown domestically in Lompoc and Guadalupe, CA, and are shipped from several different locations in the Santa Maria Valley, for quick loading convenience. Supplies will be steady through the end of the year in California, with steady production continuing in Mexico for 2021. 

Loblaw Cos. Ltd. and Second Harvest, Canada’s largest food rescue organization, announced further plans to eliminate food waste, support communities and expand their 35-year partnership across Canada, with Loblaw’s commitment of $1 million to on-board its banner stores onto Second Harvest’s FoodRescue.ca platform.

Eagle Eye Produce’s Nyssa, OR, operation finished its 2020 harvest recently and is shipping all three colors and all sizes out of storage, according to Marketing/Communications Manager Dallin Klingler.

After rescheduling its golf tournament from July due to COVID-19 restrictions, the New England Produce Council recently held its event at the Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston MA. Carlos Bon Jr. became the vice president of sales for Divine Favor LLC on Oct. 1. His appointment follows the Oct. 1 retirement of Pedro Batiz Sr.
