GR Fresh, a leading grower-shipper and distributor of Mexican vegetables, held a grand opening of its new state-of-the-art warehouse and cold storage facility, in McAllen, TX, on May 26.

BJ’s Wholesale Club Holdings Inc. announced that Darryl Brown has been named to the company’s board of directors, effective immediately.

Village Farms Greenhouse Grown hired Eric Janke as its executive vice president of sales and marketing, effective June 1, 2021. Janke will be responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the company’s produce business’ sales, marketing and fulfillment teams, working in the company’s Lake Mary, FL, corporate offices.

Future Co-CEOs Cathy Burns of PMA and Tom Stenzel of United Fresh have named seven current association staff leaders as the senior management team for the new combined association to be launched Jan. 1, 2022.
