Advanced Transportation Services sees revenue soar under new leadership
Advanced Transportation Services made a significant change to its leadership structure. Founder Marshall Kipp has decided to pass the baton to new owners and sole shareholders Robert Silva and Colby Varley. Kipp will continue to be involved in the company in an advisory role, ensuring a smooth transition and providing valuable insights based on his extensive experience in the industry.
Under the leadership of Silva and Varley, ATS has experienced remarkable growth and increased revenues. This growth can be attributed to a strategic focus on the company's strengths, including a steadfast commitment to customer service, a dedicated team available round-the-clock, state-of-the-art tracking technology, temperature monitoring and the expertise of a seasoned team that has played a pivotal role in shaping the transportation industry.
"Marshall Kipp has been instrumental in laying the foundation for ATS to become an industry powerhouse, and we are grateful for his vision and leadership," said Silva. "We are excited to build on this strong foundation and continue driving growth and innovation in the industry."
ATS specializes in serving the lower 48 states, with a focus on foodservices, retail and terminal markets. The company's comprehensive transportation solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods, as well as 24/7 full visibility of loads and API integrations to multiple software platforms.
With API integration, real-time tracking is attached to the driver’s electronic logbook on every shipment ATS provides to customers nationwide. This fully functioning integration enables full automation and visibility of truck locations, and uses geo-fencing to monitor when shipments arrive and depart from both shippers and receivers.
ATS also boasts an extremely low claim ratio, which is a direct result of using trailer temperature tracking, as well as its commitment to quality while enforcing a safety-first policy. To provide extra security, the company also offers an additional $5 million in liability insurance, thus ensuring its commitment to customer satisfaction.
One of the company’s key strengths is its always-available team, which enables ATS to transport goods day or night, meeting the needs of clients with diverse schedules. This flexibility has been an important factor in the company’s ability to cater to a wide range of industries.
"We're so proud of the growth we’ve achieved under Robert Silva and Colby Varley's leadership," said Kipp. "I’m confident that the company is in good hands and it’s an exciting prospect. I look forward to watching them continue to thrive in the years to come."
