The Arizona/California desert region experienced light lettuce ice this morning as temperatures dropped into the mid-30s to low 40s. According to Markon officials, harvesting delays of up to two hours are expected and will likely lead to loading delays for desert row crop items.
More light-moderate ice is expected tomorrow, Jan. 6, before a strong low-pressure system drops on Sunday, bringing gusty winds and a small chance for light rain.
