The California Avocado Commission selected Curious Plot as its new agency of record. Instacart is expanding its advertising solutions to Caper Carts, the company’s AI-powered smart carts.  Instacart will begin piloting ads on Caper Carts at Good Food Holdings banner stores with additional retail partners rolling out in the months ahead. Instacart expects to have thousands of Caper Carts deployed by the end of 2024.

The International Fresh Produce Association announced that Tamara Muruetagoiena has been promoted to become IFPA’s first ever vice president of sustainability. Muruetagoiena joined the organization in April 2022 and established the critical importance of the produce and floral industry taking the lead in sustainability efforts of the entire fresh and food systems.
