The International Blueberry Organization named Mario Steta, operation’s director for Driscoll's in EMEA, as its new chairman. Steta brings extensive experience and knowledge to the role and looks forward to continuing to enhance the global leading position of blueberries in the fresh produce industry, and the IBO member-producing countries globally.

Colombia avocados are a global leader in Hass avocado shipments with a growing presence in the U.S. over the last five years. That growth is highlighted by the shipment of 1,496 tons of Colombian Hass avocados to the U.S., a 56 percent year-over-year increase during the lead up to the Super Bowl.

After 45 years of dedicated service, Publix Vice President of Customer Experience Bob Bechtel announced his decision to retire March 31. Publix Director of Omnichannel David Finger has been promoted to fill Bechtel’s vacated role.
