New Mill Capital, a national asset acquisition and disposition firm, has been engaged to sell the equipment assets of Heeren Bros. via online auction. The auction sale, consisting of over 300 pieces of equipment used for apple receiving, washing, grading and packing, will be held exclusively online with bidding opening Tuesday, Jan. 31 and closing Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Epic Gardening, the leading creator-led, content-to-commerce brand in gardening, has acquired Botanical Interests, the Broomfield, CO-based vegetable, herb and flower seed packet company. The addition of Botanical Interests greatly expands Epic Gardening’s reach into the wholesale market via partnership with existing Botanical Interests store partners and sales reps. The Botanical Interests brand, its Colorado headquarters, and all employees will be retained as part of the transaction.

Details Flowers Software launched an innovative partnership with Stetson University’s Centurion Sales Program to give students hands-on experience of the floral industry and how Details is revolutionizing industry practices. In addition to new Details labs, current partner labs include notable Volusia county businesses, including Nascar, Synergy Billing and Watson Realty. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly branded Details sales training labs at Stetson University will be on Thursday, Jan. 19.
