Dip fans look forward to a summer of Yo!
Healthy snacking emerged as one of the food industry’s top trends in 2025, and ¡Yo Quiero! is a leading driver of that trend with a suite of offerings designed to meet the needs of individuals and families looking for delicious and nutritious options both at home and on-the-go.
Summer represents a special opportunity for ¡Yo Quiero! products, according to Tara Murray, vice president of marketing for Fresh Innovations LLC, the Rhome, TX-based parent company of the ¡Yo Quiero! brand.
“We offer lots of fresh, fun flavors to help you cool down on any hot summer day,” Murray said. “¡Yo Quiero! products offer better-for-you snacking options on the go. Perfect for road-tripping, they fit in any cup holder, just add the dipper — chips, veggies or just a spoon to enjoy the delicious dips straight from the container!”
Murray acknowledged that summer can be a tough time to stand out in the produce department, with a bounty of options available from local summer produce deals and popular summertime fruit options, but she said ¡Yo Quiero! is a perfect complement to these items.
“Our ¡Yo Quiero! dips go great with fresh-cut veggies,” she said. “The East Coast has a plethora of delicious summer produce like cucumbers, tomatoes and asparagus, and these all go great with our guacamole, queso, beans and salsa. And our mashed avocado is perfect for breakfast smoothies made with Jersey Fresh blueberries and peaches!”
¡Yo Quiero! launched its Grab&Go line in October at the IFPA Global Produce Show, and that is thriving at retail, lending credence to the trend for healthy and portable snacking options.
Murray cited data from Circana that reveals 64 percent of consumers actively look for snacks that are good for them, and 57 percent eat these snacks while on the go.
“This was the impetus for creating our Grab&Go line,” said Murray. “With the creation of large grab-and-go sections in retail stores, we feel this trend will continue as retailers are leaning in to provide consumers with what they want — fast, convenient foods that allow them to consciously consume. It's all about eating good to feel good.”
She said that the wide range of flavors and great price points make ¡Yo Quiero! products a must-have for its retail partners.
“Our Hatch Chile Guacamole also recently won the Good Housekeeping award for best guacamole,” said Murray. “We’re dippin guac and taking names!”
