This Easter, Pear Bureau Northwest is offering retailers a sweet, new way to excite kids for the holiday with sheets of playful stickers designed specially to decorate pears.

“We have used the egg-shaped Anjou in imagery with Easter baskets for years,” said Kevin Moffitt, president and CEO. “We have now borrowed an idea from our kids Halloween stickers and have developed these fun, colorful stickers for kids to decorate pears like Easter eggs.”

The U.S. Department of Agriculture filed an administrative complaint against Atlantic Frozen Foods LLC and Aggrigator Inc., doing business as Amor Organics, for alleged violations of the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.

Atlantic Frozen Foods, operating from Pennsylvania, allegedly failed to make payment promptly to six produce sellers in the amount of $1.18 million from December 2021 through May 2023.

Dole and Fresh Express have agreed to terminate the previously announced agreement under which Fresh Express would have acquired Dole’s fresh vegetables division for approximately $293 million in cash. This termination is the result of the U.S. Department of Justice’s decision that it will pursue litigation to prevent the transaction.
