Contest to award trip to Cancun
The contest rules are simple: every truckload of produce purchased between Jan. 7 and Feb. 1 by a new or existing customer of the company will earn that customer one entry in a drawing for a trip to Cancun, Mexico.
The full prize is an all-expenses-paid trip for two at a one-bedroom villa at the Omni Hotel in Cancun, including round trip airfare, food and beverage for two. Buying more truckloads increases the chances of winning. The value of the total package is approximately $5,000.
"With the apparent slowdown in the economy and the produce business the last few months, I thought this would be a good way to generate a little business," company owner Kevin Bartolotta told The Produce News Dec. 21. "And it'll be fun."
This is the seventh year in business for the company, a produce distributor based in Torrington, CT. The contest represents "a way to thank those who have supported us in the past, reward loyal customers and maybe get a few new ones," he said.
The drawing will be held Feb. 5 at the offices of The Produce News in Oradell, NJ.
