Stefanie Katzman, fourth generation family member of S. Katzman Produce Inc., headquartered at the Hunts Point Terminal Market in the Bronx, NY, said the New York Produce show gives the leading full-line grower, marketer and distributor benefits on multiple fronts.

“It gives us an opportunity to meet new potential customers and to see current customers and shippers with which we already do business,” said Katzman. “Our team will be at Booth No. 516 presenting our full line of produce along with the services we offer.”

S. Katzman Produce has been a loyal sponsor of the New York Produce Show, having exhibited at every show since the first one 10 years ago. This year’s tradeshow event will be held on Thursday, Dec. 12 in the Javits Center Hall 1C in New York City.

S. Katzman’s team includes both new and veteran staff members. Katzman said the company continually grows its team, and everyone plays an important role in the company’s operations.

Katzman is a fourth-generation family member to help oversee the company’s operation. S. In recent years, S. Katzman Produce acquired numerous new units on the Hunts Point Market, and today it has a presence on rows A, B and D. The additions and renovations have made it possible for the company’s entire team to work more closely together, which Katzman said has enabled it to increase its efficiencies.

“We recently had the opportunity to grow our footprint in the market with the purchase of the eight units next to our current warehouses on Row B,” she continued. “We are excited about the additional space, and we know that it is one more piece of the puzzle that will help S. Katzman continue to grow.”

The company was founded on its dedication to locally grown produce, and it continues to support local fresh fruits and vegetables whenever they are available.
