Taylor Farms introduces new Mini Chopped Kits
Taylor Farms has announced the launch of Mini Chopped Salad Kits, a new product platform introducing smaller, single-serve salad kits.
Building off of the success of all chopped salads, these new kits are offering customers the ideal restaurant experience and artisanal flavors in the comfort of their own homes, place of work, or on the go.
As a nationwide leader in chopped salad kit sales and product innovation, Taylor Farms’ new recipe creations are a result of direct consumer demand for new, fresh and flavorful options.
“Salad lovers have been asking for smaller options so we are shrinking our delicious chopped kits into personal salads,” said Bryan Jaynes, vice president of product management and marketing at Taylor Farms. “This new platform will help our customers grow the packaged salad category.”
The company said the latest additions to the Taylor Farms family feature crave-able dressings, delicious ingredients and are regionally processed within Taylor Farms’ extensive production network.
"Whether it’s chips, sodas, snacks or salad kits, multiple product sizes serve a variety of usage occasions and dayparts,” said Charis Neves, director of innovation and product management. “Mini chopped kits come in small sizes with experimental flavors. They are easy to transport providing personalized enjoyment in the palm of your hand.”
This is a brand new product segment within produce; augmenting both the single-serve bowls segment and the multi-serve chopped kits segment.
New to market flavors are Nashville Hot Mini Chopped Kit, Pizza Ranch Mini Chopped Kit, Citrus Crunch Mini Chopped Kit, Green Goddess Ranch Mini Chopped Kit and Caesar Mini Chopped Kit.
Early in-market tests have shown strong results. The five new Mini Chopped Kits are available nationwide.
