NEPC paints the town green during 2026 Dinner Dance
BOSTON — The New England Produce Council held its annual dinner dance March 14, here, at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, with a St. Patrick’s Day theme that had attendees donning their best Emerald Isle attire.
After an elaborate cocktail hour that provided an opportunity to reconnect and network, attendees adjourned to the ballroom for the main event, where a five-course seated dinner was highlighted by a surf and turf entrée, and a lively band kept the party going for hours.
Again this year, NEPC partnered with Friends of Boston Homeless to hold a sock drive to benefit the city’s homeless population.
Laura Sullivan, executive director of the NEPC, said that with more than 280 tickets sold, it one of the most successful and best-attended galas in the history of the organization.
“Our Annual NEPC Dinner Dance Gala was a tremendous success, with guests fully embracing the St. Patrick’s Day theme,” said Sullivan. “From the Irish pub station during cocktail hour to the Guinness and festive décor, the energy in the room was incredible. We extend a special thank you to our Dinner Dance Committee -- Beth McGuire (JOH), Erica Braciska (Albertsons), Lynn Perry (Stop & Shop), Alix Shapiro (Shapiro Produce), Debbie Loche (Roche Bros.), Raquel Mello (Hapco Farms) and Ashley Filliol (Superfresh Growers -- for bringing the evening to life. A standout feature was the gold coin raffle, enhanced by a festive balloon rainbow created by Janet Markowicz and Debbie Loche of Roche Bros. We are also sincerely grateful to our generous sponsors, whose contributions made the evening so special.”
