Green Giant Fresh announces changes in sales and marketing
SALINAS, CA -- Green Giant Fresh by Growers Express, a leading producer of fresh vegetables, has named Gary D. Andreasian director of produce management. In addition to managing broccoli and Iceberg lettuce sales, Mr. Andreasian will oversee international sales and manage the following product managers:
John E. Corea, who will manage celery and back up for several key items.
Martin R. Johnson, who will manage green onions, radishes and other items and will become more involved in international sales.
Robert E. Ligon, who will manage cauliflower, spinach and cabbages and back up on other items.
Raul (Ernie) Robles, who will manage asparagus and outside purchases as well as celery back up.
William A. Vargas, who will handle Romaine and Romaine hearts along with other leaf items, and back up on several items.
The company also announced that Michele A. McNeece, Paul E. Mocettini and Merritt Bruce have assumed the positions of senior account managers. Their responsibilities will include account management and new customer development.
Robert E. Leonard has assumed the position of account manager.
They will all continue to report to Woody E. Johnson, vice president of sales and marketing.
Deborah L. Schweiger will continue in the position of manager of sales administration, with Sharon L. Poljak reporting to her in her new role as administrator of account services.
Tamrah T. Gutierrez has assumed the position of manager of customer service. Reporting to her will be Shannon L. Nunez, a customer service representative, and Carolyn M. Jackson, who assumes the position of coordinator. Ms. Jackson is the only new hire, bringing past produce industry experience with her from Bruce Church, Fresh Choice (New Star), Tanimura & Antle and Ready Pac Produce.
